Discover more than 310 destinations with Turkish Airlines

Turkish Airlines

Turkish Airlines operates from Birmingham twice a day (14 flights per week) during summer from March and has 10 flights per week in winter from October, offering seamless connections to the Far East, Middle East, Central Asia, India, Africa and Russia.

Hanoi

It's one of the fastest-growing airlines in aviation history; it has developed dramatically over the last decade appealing to both the corporate and leisure market. The airline has one of the largest networks with more than 310 destinations across the world and access to over 125 countries via its main hub in Istanbul. If transit passengers have a connecting international flight in Istanbul with a layover of between 6 and 24 hours, they can make use of our free Touristanbul service to discover Istanbul.

Hong Kong

There is also no charge for seat allocation and no charge for an extra piece of baggage (within the allowance).

With its young, modern fleet and vast network, Turkish Airlines will hold its title of flying to more countries than any other airline for the foreseeable future.

Malaysia

Turkish Airlines is also now based at the new Istanbul Airport, which opened in October 2018 and is already the world’s third-largest airport. Upon completion, it is set to become the largest airport in the world with six runways and a total passenger capacity of 200 million passengers per year—almost twice that of the current largest airport.

Phuket

Turkish Airlines also offer great fares to students in the UK such as discounted fares, especially within the UK market.

Birmingham Airport

Birmingham Airport is the UK’s third-largest airport outside London and the UK’s seventh largest overall. It handles around 13 million passengers a year and around 35 million people live within its two-hour catchment—half the population of the UK. As the Midlands’ largest airport, it serves more than 150 direct scheduled and charter routes and offers an additional 340 possible connections worldwide. Over the last 10 years, Birmingham Airport has invested more than £300 million to develop its infrastructure. Sitting in the centre of the country’s road and rail network means that it is one of the UK’s most accessible airports.

In 2018, Birmingham Airport was awarded the Best UK Airport for airports above 10 million passengers a year by the Airport Operators Association and was also ranked second only behind Heathrow Terminal 5 in the Which? report on large UK airports. Netflights.com also awarded Birmingham Airport the most family-friendly airport in the UK and Ireland.
